I believe in the power of prayer. If you’ve read the poetry, articles or my about section on this blog then you’ve probably picked up on me being a Christian.
If you’ve visited this blog, we’ve exchanged e-mail, comments, etc. then I’ve already prayed for you (and I still do). It doesn’t matter if I know you or your needs. God does.
Each one of us, whether we know it or not, is either moving toward God in our lives or away from God. If you’re like how I used to be then you rarely, if ever, think about God or your place in His plan. That’s okay. Perhaps, you thought as I once did; God hates me (well, I used to say, “The Universe” but I know I meant God), is angry with me, doesn’t love me, etc. The list goes on and on. The truth is that God loves you.
Maybe you don’t believe in God. That’s okay. I have enough belief for both of us. If you would like me to pray for you then you can do any of the following:
- Like this post (I’m not trying to raise my like count)
- Comment on this post (if you would like your comment to be left private then just say “private” in your comment. Public comments will receive prayer from other people. I guarantee it. I don’t need to know your prayer request. If you want to tell me that’s fine. A private comment will stay private.
- Ask for prayer when you read this post. God knows. He sees you.
As it is written in James 5:16
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective (NIV).
