Here’s a good introduction to Genesis from Wayne Ferguson over at Theology For Breakfast on YouTube.

It’s too sad that this “pastor” “TheologyForBreakfast” is ecumenical, therefore does not represent the One True Gospel.
I watched several of his “teachings” they are all misleading and dangerous, since he believes the RCC does contribute to the Doctrine of Christ…..and is under the “umbrella of Christianity”. Did you view his other video’s?
Where is the discernment?

I liked this video. It’s important to understand the historical context of the Pentateuch. I didn’t find it to be misleading or dangerous. He could have mentioned the role of oral tradition in it, but that doesn’t make it bad teaching. I gauged this video on the merits found within it, and not any other video.

A false teacher, who presents a false Gospel in any other video, is a false teacher.
You can “know” all the “historical context of the Pentateuch” and still end up serving Satan.
Just because they “teach” some truth, is no justifiable reason to promote or utilize any of their teaching. As our Dear Lord and His Apostles teach us, we need to rebuke them and separate ourselves from them. If one does not then they will be guilty of promoting the enemy.
Eph 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Eph 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Eph 5:7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
Eph 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
Eph 5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
Eph 5:10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
Eph 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Seriously…..anyone who is truly born again can understand the “context” of the Pentateuch as the Holy Spirit teaches them…..
I found his teaching on this subject truly uninspiring, he is just speaking what he learned in a Bible institution……..head knowledge does nothing for the Spiritual life……
