Oh, my soul,
why are you so,
down
cast?
Lift up, your
eyes, and
see, the beauty
before you.
Let the horror, of
yesterday,
go,
while the
tepid
breath,
upon your
neck,
moistens,
the collar,
of your shirt.
Dis-
regard
the tingling
hairs
rising,
and biting
steel,
filling your mind.
Gaze,
upwards,
into
the
deep,
as
clasps
clamp,
and
seize-
the breath,
from stout
lungs,
and you
sag,
to
the
earth.
