I am as solid as stone.
To feel and cry
makes me no less.
I am stronger
with each tear,
with each fear.
I am the hydra.
I am your anchor,
the earth beneath your feet.
I am strong, and
I can be weak, but
that’s what makes me strong.
I can be weak.
I allow it.
I encourage it.
I shout from rooftops,
“I am weak and vulnerable!”
and
I am strong.
For I am human.
And to me,
my humanity is more powerful than stone.
Stronger than steel I am.
And so,
are you.
