There are many promises in the Bible. Of those many promises in the Bible, Matthew 6:33 and Proverbs 3:5-6 are two that are near and dear to my heart.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Sometimes things happen and we don’t have the opportunity to get down on our knees and ask God what He thinks while they’re happening. From conversations with co-workers, friends, neighbors, and strangers to driving and suddenly being in the middle of an accident. Sometimes, we may not have the time to get onto our knees and pray, but we can still ask God for help. We’ve all been blind-sided at least once in our life by something we didn’t see coming.
