The train leaves
at midnight,
all aboard,
pushing past
doubts, fears,
heartbreak
and
tears, come
one, come all-
let those
burdens fall,
azure skies,
golden hue,
hearken to
the call,
come one,
come all!

Between

breaths, lines
pass through,
bursting brilliant,
ecstatically
effervescent
turns, of
phrase,
spilling
upon canvas-
running hues
drip, thought
puddles, ponds
mesh meaningless-
lost, between
breaths.

Arrears

Big and small,
we make them
all, your
choice to make,
acknowledge
that mistake,
move on in
grace, not
a pouty face,
walk, be
humble, or
mumble and
grumble;
conceit’s
stride
truly won’t
hide, your
great fall,
when you
ignore
them
all.

Waves washing
spumy soaked
sand, slick
surf slinks,
sensually soothing,
slipping silently,
returning roguishly-
deepest depths
delving, cycling
steadily-
sunrise
sunset.
