Critical email,
in the office, doesn’t seem
so important now.

Swings swaying,
tossed, by
whimsical winds,
swashing links,
creaking,
petals passing
pushed, cyclical
swirls dancing
delightfully,
growing green
grass gazing
into azure
spring skies,
parading clouds
wander,
another day,
in
the
park…
Killed,
beaten,
held down-
spared,
constantly being made,
trying to turn you back
as you fly by
in a nick-
saved,
you heal
all wounds,
often wasted,
flooded with you,
and then, not
enough, we’re
so fickle,
us silly
humans,
let’s
hope, that
now, we’re
not out
of You.
Hard, to sit still, while
the world burns, in fear, outside
these fragile glass doors.
